Move over Jake, I'm coming through! Ali takes over the high chair, but he still looks tiny in it.

Ali: another first: tooth

Quick on the heels of his first solid food, a first tooth made an appearance yesterday. Not quite clear here, but believe me, as a breast feeding mum, it's there!

Ali: first solid food

Ali had solid food for the first time this week. Boring old rice cereal, so we added a little pureed apple yesterday and although he's not showing it, he loved it!

Here's my Tiger Face

Jake (and Ali) attended his friends Finn and Jasmin's joint 2nd birthday party last weekend and Jake got his face painted for the first time. He's was a tiger, but the fairy bread and birthday cake smudged most of it off....

Nathan was the inspiration for some shots of Jake wearing this Peter Rabbit onesie when he was about the same age as Ali is now.....I wanted to get some of Ali too, but he's not quite at the sitting up stage, so these will have to do....and one more of Jake in it too.

The Smiths take a holiday

We recently went on holiday to the Gold Coast for a week to catch up with Nana Rose. It was surprise for Nana as she didn't know we were coming up. It was lovely to see her and the boys loved spending special time with Nana while mum and dad got to enjoy some sun.
